Terms and Public Information Disclaimer
Senior Justice Help is a public-information and facility-research website. We are not a law firm, medical provider, government agency, or nursing home regulator. We may help families understand what kind of lawyer to contact or connect with legal resources, but this site does not provide legal or medical advice.
Public information, not representation
Submitting information through this site does not create representation, advocacy, a professional relationship, or any duty to investigate. We may help families understand what kind of lawyer to look for or connect with legal resources, but only a licensed attorney can give legal advice about a specific situation.
No guarantees
Public records can be incomplete, delayed, corrected, or difficult to interpret. We do not guarantee that a facility profile includes every inspection, complaint, penalty, ownership change, lawsuit, or resident-safety issue.
How to use this site responsibly
The site is designed to help families organize questions after suspected nursing home abuse, neglect, injury, or serious decline. Use the information as a starting point for records, reporting, safety decisions, and attorney-review questions. Do not rely on a page, chatbot, facility profile, public citation, case example, or checklist as a final legal or medical conclusion.
Public facility records are context. A citation, fine, complaint survey, staffing measure, quality rating, ownership record, or abuse icon does not automatically prove what happened to one resident. Likewise, a clean public profile does not prove that a specific resident received proper care. The resident's condition, care plan, nursing notes, incident report, hospital records, photographs, family timeline, causation, damages, deadlines, and applicable state law all matter.
Attorney callback requests
If you submit a callback request, we may forward the information to an attorney, intake team, or legal resource that may be better suited to review the issue. Submitting a request does not mean an attorney has accepted your matter, agreed to represent you, reviewed your facts, or confirmed that you have a claim. Representation can only be created by a separate agreement with a licensed attorney.
The site may ask for name, phone, email, city, state, facility name, what happened, approximate date, injury details, and consent preferences. The purpose is to route the request and help the reviewer understand whether the facts involve serious harm, missing answers, records questions, or a possible nursing home abuse or neglect claim.
No emergency service
Senior Justice Help is not an emergency response service. If a resident is in immediate danger, may have been assaulted, is missing, has breathing trouble, severe pain, a head injury, signs of sepsis, sudden confusion, active bleeding, choking, or another urgent medical condition, call emergency services, law enforcement, the facility's medical team, or an appropriate emergency resource.
Medical emergency notice
This site is not a medical service. Seek emergency care for urgent symptoms and ask qualified clinicians before changing medication or treatment.
Case examples and legal sources
Case examples, court opinions, statutes, agency materials, medical sources, and news reports are included for education and context. They are not promises that another family will receive the same outcome. Nursing home cases depend on facts, jurisdiction, evidence, procedural rules, medical causation, available damages, and deadlines.
Changes to the site
We may update pages, sources, facility information, routing language, chat behavior, disclaimers, or contact options as the site improves. Public records and agency links may also change. Families should save copies of important records, screenshots, and communications for their own files rather than relying on any website to remain unchanged.
Responsible use of public facility information
Facility pages may include CMS-listed facts, state-specific research links, public inspection concepts, complaint indicators, staffing context, ownership information, penalties, and links to official sources. These materials are provided to help families ask better questions. They should not be used to harass staff, publish unsupported accusations, or assume that a facility is legally responsible for a particular injury without resident-specific evidence and legal review.
